The main purpose of Friends of the Mohave County Library in Kingman is to promote a general knowledge of and interest in the library by finding opportunities to serve the library. Friends supports reading programs at all age levels, as well as providing financial support in areas not included in the regular library budget, purchasing such items as computer upgrades, furniture for the handicapped, or diaper changing stations in the restrooms. We help the library improve and enrich its resources by making donations of new books, magazine subscriptions, DVDs, audio tapes, music, etc. Friends of the Library raises funds for the library by holding book sales in Feb, May, Sept., and Dec., as well as providing books for sale on the Friends' carts all year 'round. You can become a Friend of the Library by becoming a member. Dues are: $5 individual, $8 Family, $25 Patron, $50 Sponsor. Please send mail to P.O.
